A really classic open sandwich with Swedish shrimps is called “Räkmacka” or “Räksmörgås” on the menu. Swedes love to eat it for lunch or supper. Swedish cafés and bakeshops compete with eachother to make the best. The Shrimp Sandwich has even got its very own day on the 14th of October.

- Peel the prawns and slice the egg.
- Spread the bread and put on the lettuce leaf. Place the egg on top and spread the slices so that the yolk is visible. Click or pipe on the mayonnaise .
- Top with the prawns and garnish with lemon and dill .
